Zohra's 100 point SchH I Protection routine
Floyd Wilson’s critique after Protection:
“Someone has done an excellent job of training this dog. Whether it is her or somebody else, I don’t know. But this is basically what you like to see in the protection work. Correct obedience, under control in all situations. Dog shows a tremendous amount of drive. A tremendous amount of energy. A tremendous amount of power. It is exactly what you read about in the books. I am saying all these complimentary things because I hope that you don’t go out in disappoint me in the future.
It is with a great deal of pleasure that I say it, I don’t do this very often. But, the search was excellent. The hold was close, as tight as you can get and clean. That is what I mean by obedience. Enters with a power, you can hear it. I walked in behind the dog, just like I do all the time. Didn’t even flinch. Didn’t even look at me one bit. SO. Free heeling was excellent. Attack on handler – POW! Hard , firm and the out was quick. Long attack – the set up was excellent. The speed was excellent. You heard it over here when it happened. The grip was full and firm, same as on the attack on handler. And I know the helper was pressuring the dog a great deal with the stick hits. Transport back to me was excellent. They have had more then a good day today. They had 93 in tracking. 92 in obedience. They scored 285 total and I gave them a 100 in protection!”
